Danny is 3!

Danny turned three this year during our annual Jukes family camp out.  His party was all about trains since he loves trains and trains still run along the mountain above the campsite!  Danny loved all of his gifts soooo much, it was really fun to watch his excited expressions as he opened up each one!

Last Day of School

It is hard to believe that another year of school has gone by!  Austin has progressed so much in his reading this year.  He started out at a level 4 and ended up at level 16!  I am so proud of him for all his hard work, and I love hearing him reading things all on his own now!  On the last day of school he got an award for "The Front of the Pack" for his excellence in P.E.  He was just a bit excited about it, hehe!  And then afterward we all got to stay for an ice cream party, yummy!

I know i am behind on posting.  The last few have have been very fun filled, and I will post about them soon, but not today as I had planned.  I am sick with a miserable cold.  And I am sad.  Five CHP officers have been killed in the last month, 2 just yesterday.  So I am going to put Danny down for his nap and go cuddle in bed with Bryce until he has to go to work.

Down at the River

After the bbq we took a walk down to the river.  I knew if we went anywhere near the water the boys would get wet so I brought their swim shorts.  However I forgot that my boys get this trait from Bryce, and I didn't bring any swim shorts for him - not that it stopped him from getting in the water anyway!

Last Game

Austin had his last game of the "A" ball season on Saturday.  I finally got the chance to take some pictures of him playing.  Normally I am too busy running around after Danny to be able to get around to taking pictures.  But the day was so hot that all Danny did was sit in the shade with gypsy which allowed me to go on the field to take some pics!
After the game was a bbq party down at the park   Austin was so excited to get his trophy and game ball.  Danny had fun learning how to climb the ropes and was quite the monkey by the time we were done!
Freckles and chocolate cake crumbs!
I am so proud of Austin and how far he progressed with his baseball this season.  He was so much more focused and positive!  And it was really fun to watch him finally understanding how the game works, and working together with his teammates to make good plays.

Grandmas!

Here are some more pictures from Memorial Day weekend.
My family with my Grandma, at our house, right before she and my parents all headed home:
The next day Bryce's Grandma was in town so we went to visit with her:

Roaring Camp

Last weekend was our first Civil War reenactment of the season, and it was just down the road at Roaring Camp Railroads.  The boys had a great time as usual.  I barely saw Austin all weekend.  This was his first time getting to sleep out on his own in a dog tent, he is getting so grown up!  For Danny the best part was getting to see the trains going by constantly!  My mom, dad and grandma came to down to spend the weekend with us as well!
