July the 4th

We had a busy 4th this year, full of activities and fun.  We started out at David's ward for a pancake breakfast with crafts and games for the kids.  It's where they made their cool crowns.  That afternoon we went t my ward for a flag ceremony, dinner and swimming.  Austin got to participate in the flag ceremony and he did a wonderful job!  We ended the evening with some sparklers and fireworks out on the sidewalk.

"Camping"

On Memorial Day weekend, David and I were invited up to Silver Lake to spend some time camping with my best friend Melinda and her family.  Well, it ended up being very snowy and cold, so we headed back down the hill and spent the day out on their family ranch in Plymouth.  We still had a great time and I had a lot of fun taking random pictures.

Creek Walk

Another fun spring break day activity, taking a walk with our friends the Hulbert's.  We had fun exploring, splashing, getting stuck in the mud and naming all the rocks and trees we found. 

Painting with Max

Danny loves to get to hang out and play with Max. One of their favorite things to do is paint. They also love the trains, swinging and jumping on the trampoline.

SkyZone

For Austin's Birthday he got to take a trip to SkyZone with Auntie Nessa and Uncle Laith.  Danny and I got to tag along too.  This place is perfect for my energetically exuberant boys, they were literally bouncing off the walls, as well as doing flips and jumping into foam pits.  I put the pictures together on a scrapbook page, you can click on it to see it larger if you wish.  :)

Teddy Bear Picnic

The boys took their rain gutter races very seriously!

Since the event was at Rainbow Orchards and Danny loves rainbows, we made rainbow cupcakes.

Austin got brave enough to go up onstage and dance the chicken dance.  He was excited he got to dance with the Bruin mascot!

Labor Day 2011

 

We hiked from Silver Lake to Granite Lake, about 3.5 miles, and the boys did great.

State Fair!

More pictures that I forgot to post . . . The boys and I at the state fair.  I didn't lose either of the boys and we had a great time despite the crowds!

Fresh Picked Blackberries!
